Serving people has been my passion. I even believe it is my calling because this is also when I am the happiest!  My desire to help the people of Haiti is not just a simple matter of luck, it is a blessing. Being born in Haiti and having been hoping to give back to my people some of the blessings and opportunities God has shed upon me, it is simply natural to be dedicated in the fashion I am today involved in connection with the needs of my native country.

I am a graduate of School of Medicine in 1982.  After completing a year internship at the General Hospital from 1981-1982 in Port a Piment Hospital in the Southwest region of Haiti where I had the opportunity to care for adults and children suffering infectious disease, I moved to Florida where I studied at the University of Miami. I completed 8 years of Internal Medicine; 3 years in Haiti, 2 years at the University of Miami, and 3 years at the City University of New York. I  now practice primary care in Boynton Beach and Plantation, FL.

Emmanuel D Benony, DPT, GCS is a licensed Physical Therapist and a Board-Certified Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy. He currently practices in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility and in an acute hospital setting. Dr Benony comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the physical health and rehabilitation industry and is committed to sharing the challenge of  meeting the health care needs of the Cabaret population.

About Us

Hope Center of Medicine is committed to providing affordable, quality healthcare with a holistic

approach to the needs of our clients. With a dedicated and caring professional team we serve the people and community in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

 

Located in the Commune of Cabaret, approximately an hour away from Port-Au-Prince, Hope Center of Medicine is a medical facility built on 3 acres of land. The city of Cabaret has a population of 100,000 inhabitants

 that will be served by the clinic.

 

  Our objectives

 

  To offer individualized care, catering to the physical, psychological,

  and sociocultural needs of our patients.

 

  To reduce the overall death rate in the community with better

  health care services.

 

  To help and look after a healthier community by teaching daily

  prevention and healthy lifestyles.

 

  To contribute with a medical center where most of our patients'

  needs and expectations will be met.

 

  To provide general health education sessions to the public

 on a  monthly basis.
